Portions to Cake Size

Many people ask us how many portions are served from our various cake sizes. The guide below is based on the general view that cake is cut to 3" X 1" X 1" portions.

The quality, the taste, and the look of the cake was everything I hoped for and more, very reasonably priced. The effort and imaginative thought you put into Eric's 75th 'bowls' themed birthday cake was very much admired and appreciated by everyone at the party. Eric's initial reaction on being presented with his cake was one of complete surprise and amazement. People commented on how the cake's bowling figure looked very much like Eric and the bowling theme came across very clearly. Once again, thank you for providing such a great cake and putting the 'icing' on a great day.

Hi Tracy, I am writing to thank you and congratulate you for my 'caravan cake' which Robert gave me for my 80th Birthday.It is really amazing and too nice to cut! However we shall cut it tonight as we are all visiting my niece (Robert's cousin) and no doubt he will tell you how nice it is! Hi Tracy, A short message just to let you know how delighted we are with our gluten, wheat & dairy free, Father Christmas face christmas cake, I don't want to cut it as its a delight to look at.
If this cake is half as tasteful as our last one, it won't last very long.

Hi Tracy, Just writing to say your cake was absolutely gorgeous. My daughter was over the moon with her Betty Boop! She did not want to cut the cake because it looked so so good but eventually people kept asking her for a slice and nearly three quarters went at her 40th birthday bash so she only had a small piece to take home. Thank you for two excellently made and presented cakes that were very very tasty.
It certainly made an impression on all at the Dinner party on Saturday 20th November 2010.
Everyone tried the cakes and some individuals certainly indulged more. Val would like to thank you for the presentation with her photographs and the icing finishing touches.

I ordered a rich fruit cake from Cake dreamz, not only did it look fab the taste was amazing. I have already ordered my next cake from Tracy. You cant beat home made baking, better than any shop bought cake.

Thank you very much for the wonderful shortbread. My Aunt and Uncle worked for Crawford's bakeries in Edinburgh for 30 years, and one of their best products was shortbread, so I know how good it should taste,I can honestly say that the batch you made for me far exceeded their shortbread, which has always been a family Favourite.

Thank you SO SO much for the cake. It was absolutely stunning. I can't believe all those leaves were edible and so intricate! I bought £5 worth of tickets myself trying to win it back again but failed!. It was a real talking point at the fair and when the ticket was drawn there was an audible groan from the audience as they all realised it wasn't their number! The lady that won went off looking chuffed. We handed out the majority of your cards and I've kept the last few just in case people ask me after the fair.
I'm not sure of exact figures but I think the raffle raised coming on for £500.
Thanks so much for doing the cake. It really helped us raise lots of money for Saltash Primary school!
